Confessions of an Advertising Man by David OgilvyI just started this book today. There's already little doubt in my mind why David Ogilvy had the impact he had on Madison Ave. He's self-aware and expresses himself confidently about others. Although I've done plenty of marketing over the years in my own businesses the bit of value I've only just now received from this famous author is that this guy thinks and acts in a simultaneously informed and inquisitive way! Who do you know in your life now who does this in a world-class, world-awareness way? I'm excited I picked this book up now - I think it's the right time and the right place for me to execute on ideas sparked by this new exposure. View all my reviews >>
